DEISER, Atlassian Platinum Solution Partner and Gold Marketplace Vendor, one of the leading companies in Spain in the implementation of Atlassian software solutions oriented to agile teams, announces the incorporation of David Fernández Camarero as CEO (Chief Executive Officer). Guillermo Montoya, co-founder and until now CEO of the company, will become Executive President, focusing on relations with the Atlassian ecosystem, professional and economic alliances with other entities and the expansion of the brand worldwide. In any case it is about strengthening the direction of the Company, which is part of DEISER’s commitment to growth, consolidating its position as one of the leading Atlassian Solutions providers.
David Fernández has more than 25 years of experience in team management and joins DEISER’s management team with the objective of leading the DEISER 4.0 project over the next few years. This new stage of the DEISER project seeks to further strengthen the alignment with Atlassian, of which it is Platinum Solution Partner in Spain since 2011, not only in the solutions offered (Jira Software, Jira Service Management, Jira Align) but in the speed and guidance to all teams: IT, Marketing, Finance, People, etc.. Essential elements in this project will be: the growth of the organization, its specialization, solution orientation, alliances and national and international agreements to increase its presence in companies and sectors both in Spain and in other geographical areas.
In his more than 25 years of professional experience, David Fernández has held different positions of responsibility in Lucent Technologies, CHEP, Indra, Empresarios Agrupados and Iberespacio-Grupo Técnicas Reunidas, occupying positions that include Operations Management, Strategic Project Management, Business Development, Program Management, Supply Chain Management, Partnership Management in EMEA, with collaborations in LATAM and USA, and a long etcetera. He has a proven track record of management and leadership with multidisciplinary projects in more than 15 countries, in markets as varied as IT, Telecommunications, Transport, Infrastructure, Logistics, Industry, Energy and Space, in both the Public and Private Sectors.
«After years developing my professional career, I start this new project as a personal commitment. Where I hope that my experience, along with that of the entire DEISER team, will make us grow as a reference company in the Atlassian ecosystem, which I must say «has already captivated me». I thank Guillermo, and the entire DEISER management, for the confidence to put in my hands this project, where I hope we will work together to achieve the goals set by the partners and founders of the company. In spite of not having taken more than a few steps, I must say that I am already proud to be part of the GREAT team that today forms DEISER. Their commitment, their values, and their ability are the key to success in this «company», said David Fernandez.
Guillermo Montoya, co-founder, and until now CEO of DEISER, notes: «After more than 15 years as Atlassian partners, we are proud to have seen from the beginning the enormous potential of Jira, Confluence and, above all, the leadership that Atlassian was beginning to build as early as 2007. Now, with Atlassian as a leader in software solutions for team collaboration worldwide, we want to continue to rise to a challenge that has positioned us as one of the companies most closely linked to the Australian company. We are convinced that with the entry of David as CEO of DEISER we will take a new leap forward as we did in 2011 when we became the first Platinum Solution Partner of Atlassian in Spain. DEISER 4.0 is the Master Plan of what we want the company to be for at least the next five years. David Fernandez had already collaborated with DEISER many years ago, and I believe that with his incorporation we are going to make a great leap in many directions: Speed, Strategic Vision and Portfolio of Solutions based on Atlassian at national and international level.
Just today, the day of this announcement, DEISER turns 24 years old. The best gift we could have dreamed of to celebrate is the election of someone like David to take the helm of DEISER for the next few years.
