The developer-focused fully managed Kubernetes platform deploys a working cluster in under 90 seconds<\/strong><\/p>\n

Civo, the managed Kubernetes provider built for developers, officially launched to early adopters. At launch, it is the fastest managed Kubernetes provider in the world, with a fully usable cluster deploying in under 90 seconds. It\u2019s also the first production-ready K3s platform, the super-efficient Kubernetes distribution that focuses on speed and is much less resource hungry than standard K8s.
\nKubernetes is now the go-to platform for managing container orchestration and building cloud-native applications. The main K8s distribution is known for requiring a lot of resources for even basic deployments. K3s is a new, alternative distribution of Kubernetes that requires fewer resources and still delivers the same orchestration experience. However, until today it was not previously available as a production-ready managed platform.
\nCivo has been building its K3s managed Kubernetes platform for the past two years. It currently has over 4,000 developers trialling the platform, which recently became a certified Kubernetes hosted provider by the Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF). Today\u2019s announcement is the first CNCF Certified Kubernetes production-ready platform built on K3s.
\nBuilt with developers in mind, a community of beta testers have helped shape Civo\u2019s platform throughout its development. Users provided constant feedback to Civo either through suggested features sent via its dashboard, attending regular virtual meet-ups, or via a dedicated community Slack Channel. All this input has been used to refine the platform to meet the needs of developers, adding tools and simplifying the user experience. Civo\u2019s K3s platform also includes a fully open source, user-contributed marketplace of applications – an ecosystem that is constantly growing and expanding.
